tvN drama 'Our Blues' makes Netflix's Global Top 10

Three weeks into airing, the ongoing tvN drama "Our Blues" entered Netflix's Global Top 10 list, according to the series' production company Studio Dragon on Thursday.

"Our Blues" ranked No. 8 on the list, also taking fourth place in the Non-English Content category. It has garnered over 9 million views on Netflix as of June 9, and it is most popular in countries including Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore and Vietnam.

The series also saw its highest local viewership ratings of 12.5 percent, according to Nielsen Korea. 


The show has two more episodes left in its 20-part series. They are slated to air on June 11 and 12 at 9:10 p.m.


"Our Blues" revolves around the narratives and relationships of 15 characters living in a seaside town in Jeju Island. Its 15-member cast includes actors Han Ji-min, Lee Jung-eun, Uhm Jung-hwa, Cha Seung-won and Kim Woo-bin. 


 It is written by Noh Hee-kyung, a famous screenwriter in Korea, and directed by Kim Kyu-tae. The two often work together, and some of their notable works are SBS drama series "It's Okay, That's Love" (2014) and tvN series "Dear My Friends" (2016).
